Matthew Auman
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Auman is a founding principal of HomeCentris Healthcare and its Chief Executive Officer. He is responsible for directing the leadership team of the HomeCentris companies as well as developing and executing the longer term strategic vision.
Before forming HomeCentris to focus on home-based healthcare, Mr. Auman was in the post-acute and skilled nursing industry where he served as a founding principal and the Chief Operating Officer for Encore Healthcare, LLC, a multi-state skilled nursing and specialty hospital provider. During his tenure at Encore, Mr. Auman built and managed a team of executives which oversaw operations, clinical services, human resources, therapy services, clinical reimbursement and risk management. Under Mr. Auman’s direction, Encore grew from a 12-facility portfolio to a 31-facility portfolio.
Prior to joining Encore, Mr. Auman was a founding principal and Vice President of Development for Monarch Properties, a health care real estate company with over 30 properties. Mr. Auman directed the company’s merger and acquisition efforts and private equity investments on behalf of Monarch’s outside investors.
Mr. Auman started his career at the First National Bank of Maryland where he was a commercial lender. He later transitioned to the healthcare industry by joining Integrated Health Services, serving in many M&A and real estate roles. He received his undergraduate business degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Richmond and his Masters of Business Administration from Loyola College in Maryland. Mr. Auman is a Board member for the Maryland National Capital Homecare Association (“MNCHA”) and chairs its Legislative Committee. He lives in Catonsville, Maryland.
Jason C. Hafer
Vice President – Personal Care Division
Mr. Hafer joined HomeCentris Healthcare as the Executive Director of HomeCentris Personal Care in 2016. He is responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of HomeCentris Personal Care.
Before joining HomeCentris, Mr. Hafer was with Addus HomeCare, one of the nation’s largest publicly traded home care companies, where he was the Delaware State Director. Mr. Hafer provided oversight to an integrated portfolio of agencies including Medicare certified skilled care, nurse supervised home care, and non-medical homecare. Mr. Hafer provided leadership to the agencies management teams and was responsible for maintaining and enhancing relationships with governmental and private payors.
Prior to joining Addus, Mr. Hafer was a multi-site facility administrator for DaVita Dialysis where he directed in-patient, out-patient, and home based services on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Mr. Hafer’s career in healthcare spans nearly 15 years and began with Genesis Healthcare where he spent time in both assisted living and skilled nursing facilities.
Mr. Hafer started his career in the hospitality industry working in management for some of the nation’s largest operators. He received his undergraduate business degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management from the Pennsylvania State University and his Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Administration from Wilmington University in Delaware. Mr. Hafer is married and has a daughter.
Joe Shannon
Vice President – Business Development
Mr. Shannon joined HomeCentris Healthcare as Vice President of Business Development in 2017. He is responsible for strategically aligning HomeCentris’ services and products as healthcare solutions for health systems, post-acute providers, managed care groups, patients and families.
Before joining HomeCentris, Mr. Shannon served as Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Sava SeniorCare Consulting, LLC, one of the largest skilled nursing facility providers in the country. Mr. Shannon provided sales leadership and strategic planning for a multi-state portfolio of skilled nursing facilities, the largest region, by census, in the company. Mr. Shannon was also responsible for facilitating relationships with regional healthcare coalitions, hospital systems, and other strategic partners.
Prior to his time with Sava, Mr. Shannon served as Director of Sales and Marketing for Professional Healthcare Resources, Inc. (PHR), a regional home health, hospice and personal care provider with seven locations across Maryland, DC and Virginia. He was responsible for the day-to-day sales management of the organization, as well as business development relationships with strategic healthcare and managed care partners.
Mr. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Charleston and completed post-graduate work in Kinesiology at the University of Maryland, College Park. He lives in Catonsville, MD with his wife and two children.
Kelly McMahon
Vice President – Home Health Division
Kelly joined HomeCentris in February 2022 and is responsible for its skilled Home Health Division. Prior to HomeCentris, Kelly was the Administrator for Holy Cross Home Care and Hospice. She has been in the medical field for nearly four decades, focusing on the fields of Emergency medicine, Trauma, Home Health Care and Case Management. She earned a business degree from Loyola College of Maryland and a Nursing degree from Marymount University. Due to her diverse background combing business and nursing, she has become a powerhouse for operations and management with various nationwide organizations. A born leader, Kelly is known for her hard work ethic and dedication to her profession.
Previously she has overseen healthcare organizations ranging from 2 million to 170 million dollars a year. Kelly enjoys philanthropic work as well. She currently serves as President for the CMSA (Chesapeake Chapter) as well as on the board for Maryland National Capital Home Health Association (MNCHA) where she is co-chair of the programs committee.
Kelly resides in Fallston, Maryland. When not working, Kelly loves to spend time with her daughter and grandson, who just turned 5-year-old and her three dogs. Two of those dogs were rescues from Saudi Arabia and are Saluki’s (Finn and Kayla) which is the oldest dog breed in the world. She also has a teacup yorkie named Maisie.
Harrison Perry
Partner & Co-Founder, Interprise Capital
Mr. Perry is a results-driven executive with a proven track record of achievement in M&A, strategic planning, finance, leadership development, operations analysis, fundraising and business development. Specialized in developing innovative growth strategies combined with strong execution to lay the foundation for an organization’s long-term success, Mr. Perry is a Co-Founder of Interprise Partners. Formerly Vice President at EDG Partners, Mr. Perry was responsible for investment sourcing, due diligence and structuring. Mr. Perry serves on the Board of Directors of Smile Magic Dentistry and Diabetes America, where he also served as the interim CFO.Prior to EDG, Mr. Perry was a Senior Associate at Radius Ventures, where he made equity investments in high growth technology and services businesses. Prior to Radius, Mr. Perry was an Associate in a private equity and mezzanine debt fund at CapitalSource and at Bank of America where he provided debt financing for Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Perry received an MBA with distinction from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS in Business Administration with distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
